structure vs organic

I totally love this idea that AT:NY posted today, inspired by these Clipped Cubes from Designfenzider. The post was about possible DIY solutions to this and I'm thinking I gotta try it! I just love this concept of building some sort of architectural structure juxtaposed around a glass vase... hm... ideas...
