First off- Whoa- it's March? Where did February go? And then come today, I realize it has been... 4 years?! that this little mundane blog has been around?! Wow- That's just crazy talk I tell ya! Well, once again, my sincerest thanks to each and every one of you that take some time out of your day to check out my mundane musings. I started this blog, mainly as an outlet to document the things that were catching my eye, and to have a place to share the pretty things that can be found everywhere and anywhere. It's not where you live, it's how you live that's important. Thanks for joining in the ride and please continue to send your emails and comments. I love hearing from you! By the way, I recently signed up to formspring, so if you happen to have a question for me- ask away! click here.
In other news, special shout out to the super awesome folks at Home & Decor magazine in Singapore for featuring me as their "blogger of the month!" (Thanks to Imelda for letting me know the issue came out!)
Anyway- Work has been a bit hectic, but rest assured- I do have a bunch of things I've been meaning to do here on the blog still on the list- I mentioned previously that I'm working on a complete site re-design (still tweaking- but it's coming along), I also still have a few giveaways and a bunch of book reviews on the way as well. So please stay tuned and thanks again for sharing these past 4 years with me! Go eat something yummy! It's Tuesday! you deserve it!

log roll
Great idea for some tree stumps- put casters on them! Could be great for seating as well as a sidetable (or both in one!) Spotted this in the home of Paul Falla, featured in the Spring 2010 Loft Life Magazine. (the cat is pretty adorable too) If you haven't checked out the latest issue, it has a sneak peak into the homes of some of designblog-land's lovely ladies- click here for more! LeSucre tees

Awesome t-shirt designs from LeSucre. Looks like only available in Europe- I wish they'd ship to the US! (le sigh...)

Owl vase set
Cute owl vase set from designer Genevieve Gorder on QVC. (I've always liked her designs on TV- Didn't know she had her own collection- but then I guess everyone does nowadays?) $29.98 for set of 3

Bread Drum WMF
Really liking the look of this "bread drum" by WMF. It has a cutting board top, or you can get it without and then be able to stack several on top of each other. More info here and here. Do any of you use bread boxes? I actually have two in my kitchen, but use it more for other storage than actually storing bread. Do they really work?
Gucci Spring Summer 2010
So.. yeah... this is basically how I spend every weekend. Damn those paparazzi!! Always sneaking up on me! hehe- but seriously- I'm loving those glass chairs. Completely impractical and probably extremely uncomfortable- but they look so sexy.

TGIF video break: Rude Boy
Whew! Been another long week- so happy its the weekend! despite the fact that it's supposed to rain here in the soCal tomorrow (saturday), this bright and pop-y video (my current guilty pleasure) is totally getting me in the mood to groove and relax. Love how unapologetically 80's it is too.

Liberty of London for Target

I'm sure many of you are anticipating the new Liberty of London for Target Collection- Just got word they launched the mini-site- All the prints look so lovely for spring! Looking forward to seeing the real thing in stores. Be sure to check out the fun video- here's a few screen caps.
HAY clear acrylic display boxes
Really Really loving how these clear shelves look, as seen in the March/April 2010 Inside Out. (photo by Sam McAdam, styling by David Harrison for Inside Out) They are made by Hay, and they come in a bunch of sizes and configurations. The two pictured are the "Display Me" and the "Curiosity". I wish I could find a retailer of these closer to me. Container Store has some clear shelves, and CB2 has some cubes, but... soooo not the same. I'm starting to obsess...

El Portillo
Amazing what some paint and modern thinking can do! Ok, there was probably a bit more involved than just paint, but it's inspiring nonetheless ;-) In Spain, a "sad looking, traditional wood cabin..." was transformed by Stone Designs into a super amazing hamburger joint. The entire exterior was painted black and then artist Pepa Prieto created white animal graphics to adorn it.
The inside features bright modern minimal "camp" inspired design elements, like climbing rope and wood benches with pop colors.
So cool! check out more here and here. (via Wallpaper)
