Happy friday- I have a crazy day today- but just wanted to put up this fun idea for all of you that have waaaay too many magazines (like me)- I know I've seen these before (can't remember where though), but just saw them again yesterday- Frazier and Wing have created these hand cut, beautiful hand strung mobiles out of magazine clippings! 
Could also be a fun DIY idea for an office area... (via LA times) Have a great weekend!

Ouch! Those prices are crazy! Given how many piles of magazines I have around my pad, I am going to give it a DIY-try. I'll send you a photo if the results aren't too pathetic.
my mom tried this and its not as simple as it looks. she did oblong pieces and she can't get them to lay flat. they topple over. in other words, they won't stay parallel to each other. any ideas?
This is looking so nice! But, even though my home is flooded with magazines (mostly design and travel), I don't have the heart to cut them up! Who knows when I would need to refer back to one for inspiration? ;-)
